Highlights from Past SDF Golf Classics
One of the signature fundraising events for The Seneca Diabetes Foundation is the Annual Golf Classic – Fore the Cause. Each year, the tournament brings together hundreds of golfers to raise money to advance the fight against diabetes.
We held our 14th Annual tournament on August 27, 2018 at two of Western New York’s finest golf courses – Seneca Hickory Stick and Niagara Falls Country Club. Nearly two hundred golfers were in attendance and we raised more than $100,000. A reception was held at the end of the event at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel to announce the winners.
Since starting the tournament in 2005, more than $750,000 has been raised to help SDF meets its mission to help create a healthy community and lifestyle for Seneca Nation members impacted with one of America’s most devastating diseases.
